Deerfield Academy Dining Hall – Architectural Woodwork Installation
Pursuit Construction was honored to serve as the architectural millwork installer for the Deerfield Academy Dining Hall, a project that exemplifies the enduring value of traditional craftsmanship in an era of modern construction. Working within a design rooted in classical architectural principles, our team completed extensive interior and exterior finish carpentry, delivering a level of detail that is increasingly rare to execute today.
The scope included the precise installation of crown moldings, picture rails, panel moldings, wall panels, and pilasters—each element requiring careful coordination, exacting measurements, and a deep respect for the architect’s intent. Projects of this nature demand patience, discipline, and a highly skilled installation team capable of honoring traditional detailing while meeting contemporary performance standards.
